Run Gear Run was conceived during a 5k race on a cool, overcast December morning in the South Texas hill country. After years of struggling to find the right product, with the right information at the right price, founder Amber Anthony was convinced she could offer more. Run Gear Run, LLC was founded a month later as a partnership between Anthony and Ashley Rosilier, and the driving mission has since been to provide better price points and product knowledge for the consumer. Our primary goal has always been to create a store that was accessible to all athletes in the area. We believe that every level of athlete, from the person who is trying to start a walking program to lose weight to the marathon elite runner deserves to have the right product and information to make the best of their investment in themselves. In addition to being a retail store, we provide training and coaching for athletes of all levels. We have done many programs which have all met with success, from yoga & running classes to 5ks to marathons to triathlons. We are also affiliated with two well-respected, national training programs: Heart Zones Team Danskin Training, a 6 week all-womens triathlon training program, and USA Fit, a 26-week marathon training program for all levels. We pride ourselves in being able to provide knowledge as well as product to all levels of athletes. We also believe strongly in giving back to the community. We are active sponsors of various running, swimming & triathlon clubs and groups. We also are race directors for the only all-kids triathlon series in San Antonio. Weve now now involved nearly 300 children in the sport of triathlon.
