Since 1985, Colorado Boomerangs has been at the forefront of boomerang production in the United States, supplying vendors from coast to coast and printing custom designs for companies such as AMD and BMW. Our boomerangs are handcrafted from tested proven-to-work blueprints designed by our leading boomerang craftsmen, and all of our boomerangs are made from Finnish birch plywood. While the tried and true boomerang plans are slow to change, our paint jobs do vary from year to year, as our craftsmen apply their artistic talents in addition to their amazing carving abilities. Colorado Boomerangs are handcrafted in a small workshop in Gunnison, Colorado. Each boomerang is individually sanded, sealed, and painted, with proper care taken to maintain the airfoils that allow a boomerang to fly and return. Some of our performance boomerangs have lead weights added to allow them to fly farther. Although each of our boomerangs has its own distinct personality, all of them are crafted with quality as the primary goal.
